Born and raised outside of Washington, D.C., James has grown familiar with the city's music scene over the last ten years. Since high school, James has performed regularly at venues, festivals, bars, wineries, and breweries across the United States. James has gathered a following up and down the east coast both as a solo artist and as a member of bands including Throwing Plates, Augustus James, and Riverside Lights. Recent venues James has been seen playing at include Los Angeles' Hotel Cafe, New York City's Rockwood Music Hall, and Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club, The Anthem, Pearl Street Warehouse, Jammin' Java, Songbyrd Cafe, Rock and Roll Hotel, and IOTA. As of January 2021, James is now based in Nashville, Tennessee working as a session player and live guitarist and vocalist. For booking, click the 'Contact' link on the top of the page.
